About Us

Opened in 1857 The Warrington boasts stunning original features such as mosaic floors, stained glass windows, pillared portico's, art nouveau friezes and a stunning marble fireplace. Arguably one of the most beautiful pubs in London it is unique having preserved much of its late Victorian character to this day.

It is Grade II listed as well as listed with The National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors due to its significant historic interest having remained largely unchanged since world war II.

Lending itself to a touch of controversy, The Warrington was supposedly once an upmarket brothel,  whilst under the ownership of the Church of England. Leading then, to the introduction of the slang word 'Randy’, due to the nature of activity in the pub and its proximity to neighboring Randolph Crescent.

In the 19th Century public houses were frowned upon, so to attract a more affluent customer The Warrington was lavishly reworked in the great age of pub rebuilding (1890's) using features from a magnificent old ship of which the circular bar, marble fireplace and grand staircase all still stand.

Situated a stone's throw from the picturesque canals of Little Venice in North West London boasting some of London's most sort after properties it is well connected with nearby Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue and Paddington tube stations. Even today you will see some famous faces due to the Warrington's proximity to the famous Abbey Road studios with many people living in the area bigwigs in the music and creative industries. It is also conveniently placed to access Lord's Cricket Grounds and London's Maida Vale BBC Studios.

There are 2 ground floor bars with a variety of seating areas, a large external shaded patio garden area, an upstairs restaurant and function room and a private dining room. Not forgetting our 5 beautiful Hotel Rooms. Each one individually designed and decorated with the finest finishes and furnished with handpicked items ranging from roll top copper baths to Kind Sized 4 poster beds.

So now not only is it the perfect place for a Sunday Lunch, beer with friends, or a private dinner in the Billiard Room, but also the perfect place to lay your head and explore London.
